Young people in junior high and high school are drawn into the meaningful, exciting youth ministries at Court Street. Adult volunteers meet with the youth on Sundays and Wednesdays for Bible study, discussion groups, and special outings. The youth participated with other Hattiesburg United Methodist Churches in "Awakening 2010" and Conference YOUTH DAY in Jackson. Their summer retreat will be at Seashore United Methodist Assembly on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The youth enjoy being involved in worship services and Vacation Bible School. The current Confirmation Class was confirmed on Pentecost, Sunday May 23, during the 11 a.m. worship service.
